Renewable Heat Incentive

What Is the Renewable Heat Incentive?

The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is a UK Government funding scheme that enables eligible UK residents to claim money back for heating their homes with renewable technology.

This incentive scheme rewards homeowners who invest in the installation of the technologies by paying a fee for every kWh of renewable generated by the installed technology.

High rate of return

As well as the RHI payments for investing in the renewable technology there is a potential reduction in the cost of consumed energy by the heating system, providing a higher rate of return on the overall investment made by the RHI recipient.

The RHI was opened in April 2014 and has supported thousands of home and business owners to support the UK in its ambition to achieve our 2050 net zero carbon target. CMS Surveyors have the technical expertise to evaluate your home, and create the right technical solution to support your journey to a low carbon future.
